Tony himself almost falls off a cliff after a truck's brakes give without apparent reason.
The following night, Tony hears a strange noise caused by what appears to be a flying skull. He dons his Iron Man armor and follows the ghostly apparition towards an old cave. Before he can reach the cavern, his armor systems give completely and he falls into the sea, utterly powerless. IM then has a vision. A spirit explains to him that the land his friend is building on is a sacred ancient burial ground for the first people of Hawaii. The next morning, Stark wakes up in bed as if nothing had happened. He proceeds to buy the property off his friend to "give it to the people as a wildlife refuge and maybe build a small cultural museum."
What's cool:
Interesting story with a strong political message. The art is also excellent. The artist appears to be Hawaiian and he draws his homeland and the history of his people with great passion. I'm personally very interested in Polynesian cultures so this story was of great interest to me. A cool story that gives you food for thoughts.
What's baaad:
Well, as much as I enjoyed this story, I was disappointed to see so little of Iron Man in it. Only a very small number of panels actually feature the Golden Avenger and he doesn't do much more than fly around or crash into the sea. Seems to me any other Marvel hero could have been used for this story without making it any different at all!

When Carl tells him he won't make any money by turning the place into a wildlife refuge, Tony answers: "No, I won't. But maybe - by giving something back to this island - maybe I'll be making some REAL progress."
