"The Coming of Squirrel Girl" - Winter 1992
Script : Will Murray
Plot, pencils and inks : Steve Ditko
Story:
Iron Man meets 15 year old (I'm not kidding) buck-toothed Squirrel Girl! Yep, that's right! Squirrel Girl, who wants to be his partner. She has a tail, a "knuckle spike", a sharp tooth that can bite through most anything, and has the power to control and communicate with squirrels! Together they take on Dr. Doom and hand him (in the words of IM): "the most inglorious defeat of his career".
What's baaad:Okay. First off, this is probably the worst story ever written if taken within the context of continuity or any level of seriousness. If you take it for a joke, it's STILL bad! I'll admit I laughed, but only because it was so horrible....and that's including the hopelessly hokey Steve Ditko art! Maybe this is one of those "make believe" stories, right? Sheesh!
