Story:
Okay, I'll try to make this as short and painless as possible folks. The Blizzard has severed his ties with Justin Hammer (we now know, after reading the Bad Blood miniserie
s that Hammer's dead) and his first brilliant initiative is to trash downtown New York for no apparent reason. Yawn! The New Warriors try to stop him with very little success. Then Iron Man arrives on the scene (this is the empty sentient armor of Tony Stark by the way, not the real dude). IM kicks the living daylights out of Blizzard, almost killing him. Nova then taps IM on the shoulder hoping that he'll calm down but IM instead punches him with all his strength and sends the kid flying through a building. Then of course the rest of this boring team attacks IM and are completely taken apart. Once the Warriors lie defeated, IM holds Nova by the neck, choking him when he suddenly says: "What am I… doing? Tony is wrong. I am an Avenger." Then, he drops Nova and simply flies off.
What's cool:
I can't stand the New Warriors so it was a great joy for me to see Iron Man take them apart. And at least now we know what that Avenger distress call was in the middle of issue 30.
What's baaad:
Where do I start? The story is just ridiculous, Blizzard has no reason whatsoever to act the way he does. I know he's dumb bit not that dumb. Blizzy's a crook, a mercenary, he's in it for the money! What's the point exactly of standing in the middle of downtown New York freezing cars?

The art is awful, on the first page, Iron Man's distorted mask makes him look like a baboon. The New Warriors are the lamest team of characters I've ever seen (after the Teletubbies), no interest whatsoever. Okay, they had their good times in their first series when they fought Terrax and the Sphinx. But those interesting storylines are long gone it seems. This is one of the lowest quality comics I've read in a while… no wonder this series is getting cancelled! Stay as far away from this one as you can people!
